GISEC 2022: What’s Next in Cybersecurity

We just returned from the Gulf Information Security Expo & Conference 2022 (GISEC Global I Dubai I UAE), which took place in Dubai on March 21-23. GISEC Global is one of the largest and most influential security shows in the cybersecurity community, overshadowing many other cyber events regarding aspiration, diversity, and scope.

Our team joined top cybersecurity companies, CIOs, CISOs & CTOs, government agencies, and cybersecurity experts from 86+ countries to learn about next-generation cyberthreats and security trends and tactics that will lead cybersecurity transformation across industry sectors across the world. Over 8,300 security professionals joined a total audience of over 12,000 tech leaders for the Middle East’s most important conversation about emerging security threats. Whether it was to learn from global leaders at the world’s top cyber companies or to understand the next moves of major enterprises, the conference offered sessions related to every relevant discipline.

It was indeed a great learning experience. Multiple sessions were conducted on industry best practices by cybersecurity leaders and experts. Some of the most captivating sessions we found included:

  • Best practices to integrate security in SDLC
  • Advanced web application exploitation techniques
  • Next-gen tools and technologies to counter malware and other advanced persistent threats
  • Cloud Security best practices
  • A new era of Quantum Cryptography
  • Building next-generation Cybersecurity Operations
  • Zero Trust architecture

The conference included more than 30 cybersecurity industry leaders and innovators at the intersection of Cloud, AI, Endpoint Security, and Data Protection. They exhibited a variety of solutions and products across the information security spectrum – Access Control, Vulnerability Management, SIEM, EDR, Threat Intel Platform, Cloud Security solutions, and more.
